Coorong Wilderness Lodge, Fleurieu Peninsula

Situated in the beautiful Coorong wilderness area, the Coorong Wilderness Lodge offers visitors a unique indigenous cultural experience as well as the opportunity to explore this unique Australian environment.

The lodge itself offers simple accommodation and a cultural interpretive centre with spectacular views of the surrounding waters and native bushland and a restaurant which provides authentic indigenous meals.

The Lodge offers a range of activities to experience the Ngarrindjeri (the local indigenous tribe) way of life and the local wildlife and fauna. The aim is to provide visitors, including local, national and international tourists, with a range of indigenous cultural and nature-based. You can also kayak along the beautiful waterways to the sand dunes and small islands or just sit in the Lodge and watch the bird life and the beauty of the Coorong.
